I'm not a photographer myself — I'm a designer. My journey into photo overlays started back in 2012, when photographers began asking me for help retouching their photos. Little by little, I started building my own overlay collections to solve real problems I kept seeing: a photo with barely any butterflies in frame, or sparklers that just weren't glowing the way they should. So I started adding my own.

In 2016, I discovered that overlay packs were already being sold as products — and it clicked. I opened my Etsy shop that same year and uploaded my very first packs. Photographers loved them, and that response is what pushed me to keep creating collection after collection.

Since then, DreamyOverlay has grown into a library of 26,000+ sales and 1,300+ five-star reviews from photographers around the world — covering everything from dreamy bokeh and florals to seasonal and fantasy effects. Every overlay is still designed with the same idea I started with in 2012: give photographers the little details that make a photo feel finished.
